Proagriwax™
Azzurra
Proagriwax™ Azzurra is a wax for warm regions. It is typically used in the nursery field at springtime. This wax formulation balances the requirements for heat resistance and hardness in the nursery fields with the necessary flexibility for callus growth. It contains a pure microcrystalline formulation.
How To Use:
The wax should be melted and kept in a temperature-controlled melting pot between 83 - 88°C. It is important to avoid higher temperatures as this can damage the plant material. Wax is applied by dipping the plant in to the molted wax. This should be done in a rapid movement so that the plant is submerged in the warm wax for a minimal amount of time, approximately 0,5 second. The plant material, both the rootstock and scion, should be cold and preferrably moist when the wax is applied. The plant should be submerged in cold water for minimum 4-5 seconds directly after dipping.
Color:
Proagriwax Azzurra has a blue color.
Consumption:
Typical consumption is 2 - 3 grams per plant.
Packaging:
The product is supplied as slabs with a weight of approximately 5 kg each. The slabs are packed either in 20 kg paper boxes or pallet boxes containing approx. 800 kg.
