Proagriwax™ 70/75
Proagriwax™ 70/75 is a heat resistant wax in the Proagriwax series and is typically mixed with Proagriwax Mediterranean in order to increase the melting point of the latter. This is normally done when the temperature increases in the nursery late in the planting season, which requires a wax with a higher melting point. Typical mixtures vary between 20-50%. It is important to know that this wax is not flexible at low temperatures and therefore its use is not advisable for areas with cold nights or to prepare the plants for storage in cold rooms since the wax could easily crack.
How To Use:
The wax should be melted and kept in a temperature controlled melting pot between 76 – 80 degrees. It is important to avoid higher temperatures as this might damage the plant. Wax is applied by dipping the plant in to the melted wax. This should be done in a rapid movement so that the plant is submerged in the warm wax for a minimal amount of time, approximately 0,5 second. The plant material, both the rootstock and scion, should be cold and moist when the wax is applied. The plant should be submerged in cold water for 4-5 seconds directly after dipping.
Color:
Proagriwax Microwax 70/75 has a neutral/brownish color.

Typical consumption is 1-2 gram of wax per plant.
Packaging:
The product is supplied as slabs with a weight of approximately 5 kg each. The slabs are packed either in 20 kg paper boxes or pallet boxes containing 780 kg.
