Proagriwax™ G-Tropical
Proagriwax G-Tropical is a wax product that is typically used for treatment of grafted vine plants before cultivation in the nursery fields. At this stage in the grafting process the plant does not have a functioning root system. When applied, the wax creates a waterproof layer on the plant. This prevents the cells in the plant from drying out until a new root system is established. Proagriwax G-Tropical consist of a blend of micro waxes and fatty acids with heat tolerant properties to prevent melting at high field temperatures.
How To Use:
The wax is melted and kept in a temperature-controlled melting pot between 80 – 85 C. It is important to avoid higher temperatures as this might damage the plant. Wax is applied by dipping the plant in to the molted wax. This should be done in a rapid movement so that the plant is submerged in the warm wax for a minimal amount of time, approximately 0,5 second. The plant material, both the rootstock and scion, should be cold and moist when the wax is applied. The plant should be submerged in cold water for minimum 4-5 seconds directly after dipping.
Color:
Proagriwax G-Tropical has a green color.

Typical consumption is 2-4 gram of wax per plant.
